What's your BMI? How much weight do you want to lose and by when? Using that information, FitDay helps you design a meal plan that will get you to your goals. It also helps you get on the right track by starting you off with your own goals (see Figure 2.18). Like other software products, FitDay provides a diet and exercise diary. A free version of the software is available on the Web (see Figure 2.16), but you can purchase a more powerful version from the company (see Figure 2.17). FitDay is a nice, easy-to-use software product that makes it easy to keep a food diary and that tracks all of the important activities and intakes. For one thing, the online version is free! It's very easy to use, it provides enough reports for most people, and it has a nice-sized database that is easy to add to. However, it represents an excellent value as a diet diary. It does what you need, but it doesn't offer nearly the power of NutriBase or DietPower. Pros: Nice product, low price, has everything that most people need in a nutrition software product.Īlthough NutriBase boasts a plethora of features and DietPower offers basal metabolic tracking, FitDay is more plain vanilla.
